We have had an amazing week this week. This last monday we had our Pday and we went to a senior couples for Breakfast. Homemade Biscuts and Gravy! UTAH STYLE it was amazing! We went to the office and then we headed out to Port Coquitlam and we got our Hair cuts by a young man who is in our ward and is really good at cutting hair he wants to be a barber.
This week has been fantastic!! We have been focusing on 3 of our investigators that are going to be Baptized on June the 30th! what an amazing experience that is!! ( Christopher that is 3 of 13) I am so
greatful for the Oppertunity that God has given to me to Serve a Mission. I am starting to understand why its is so important.
As you said you dont really know what is going on. Well I'm sorry I apologize. I just never know what to really talk about. I really feel like you guys are here and know what is going on. But you are not so I
apologize.
We have 9 investagators right now and 6 have a baptismal date and are so ready to be baptized. All of the people we are teaching right now are one big group of friends. One of the first people we were teaching was Monica. She gave us the referals of her friends ( no she is not a member yet) and now they are all going to be Baptized! Monica and one other of her friends have been Investigators for 7 years, dropped a few time but now they are ready and they set their dates. Oh what a blessing!!
I know that it is a blessing to receive this gospel and to have the COMPANIONSHIP of the Holy Ghost. What a blessing it is that God GIVES to us.
I am so excited for this coming week. You now know a little more about what is going on. We really are being blessed and we are super grateful for your Prayers at home and for your support. We know that it makes a difference. Next Monday is a Holiday here in Canada and therefore i will be emailing probably on Tuesday!!
Monday we will receive Transfer Calls and i know that something is going to be changing! It is kind of exciting. This next transfer will put me up to 6 months serving a mission. That is just a little bit crazy!!
This week we have 3 baptisms on Saturday at 6pm at 830 in the morning we will be Playing in a soccer Tournament with some of our investigators and Potentials. Monday is another Tournament that we will be playing in.
I just a Call from our ward mission leader and I will probably be going on splits with him tomorrow do go visit a family and do a little bit of training.
I love you all and i hope that you all have a Fantabulousistic vacation week this week! I look forward to Pictures and I LOVE YOU!!
with all my Heart, my love and my Respect,
your son and Brother,

Weekly Letter - Monday June 11, 2012
Wow i really can not believe that i have been out almost 6 months minus 2 so really only 4 =) but i have been in Canada for the last 2months which is just crazy!
I have been having a fantastic time here and have been learning so much every day!
This week we taught a lot of lessons!!
So i want to talk a little bit about my ward that is here.
So we have a fairly small ward here because it is a Spanish ward and you know Spanish in Canada well that is kinda rare. =) not really but... But this week we had 8 investigators (between the 2 companionships ) at church !! 2 were ours here in Burnaby! We saw a miracle ! Vancouver Elders that speak Spanish are just fantastic and really work hard and we love them so very much! This last week Elder Rivera and i went on Splits to Surrey and i have come to realize that if the spirit is not present i can not speak Spanish very well. =) Well we had 2 lessons there in Surrey and they were fantastic and I am so very grateful for the spirit that come to testify of truths !
We have many investigators we had one lady who set here own Baptismal date! super fantastic !
So as a mission we usually get around 26 or so baptisms a months well for the month of June there are 54 SOLID baptismal date and that is because we follow the rules and really do what the Lord Expects of us!
Thank you so much for your support in all things! The people here in Canada really have big hearts. I really know and can understand where they are coming from when they talk to us! They let us in to their homes and the give us food! The Lord really does provide for those who serve him! I really am being to understand the just the smallest portion and the Smallest Degree of The love which Heavenly Father has for me and I am so very grateful for the opportunity that he has given me to begin to understand this feeling.
This morning I studied about the Atonement, i Honestly cant comprehend what he has done, But i know and understand that it is because he loves us that he Atoned for our sins, for our short comings and i know that through him, we don't have to feel sad, alone, like we cant succeed. I know and am just beginning to understand the love that he has for me! I Know so much that he loves you and wants you to feel his love each and every day of your life.
I understand why God gives us rules, standard of truth, it is so he CAN give us blessings. He wants to just give us Blessings! He Said " TRY ME" and see if i wont do it. BE obedient and see if I wont Bless
you with all that i have!
I am so very grateful to be here and to serve and to learn !
Thank you all for being a part of my life and setting a standard to follow! I love you all so very much!

Weekly Letter - Monday June 04, 2012
Good Morning My family Como esteis? =)
Holy Cow i don't even know where to start this week!! It is just ridiculous. Blessings come from striving to do what is right! striving to be obedient! striving with all your heart to really be like Christ.
This last week we taught 15 lessons ( total lessons with less actives potential investigators, and also to our progressing investigators) and they all had their points. It is a blessing to have the Opportunity to serve a Mission. I have really started realizing that i really don't have very much time to serve the Lord with All my time. I wish I would have realized that before, we had the Opportunity to have one of the members who is preparing to go on a mission with us come out with us on a " Mini Mission" and all that I have to say is i Wish that we could do that in Utah more. This Kid is so SO SO prepared to serve Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ he knows why he is going and what he is going to accomplish. I can Say honestly i sincerely feel so bad that i did not go to the Mission Prep class, Sorry dad, But more sorry to Heavenly Father because i know that it is a tool that he has given to the young men and women to prepare.
" If in your moments of Strength You PREPARE for your moments of Weakness, You cannot Fail" ( Emphasis added) That is a quote that the Choir director at the MTC gave that he made up on the spot. AND I KNOW that it is true.
I would encourage you to go to the mission prep class if you are preparing, and to prepare when you are strong. Don't get discouraged.
That is one experience that we had. Another one is with a family in the ward that i absolutely love because of their Humbleness and the Trust in God! They always come out when every we need help and they are amazing. Helping the Missionaries i know is tough and you might just think its a waste of time but THEY ARE 19 years old, they need your help i know that because i am a 19 year old missionary, and we need the members help in every lesson. The Members are the Key to Missionary work. They know people, they have the experiences they can connect and make new friends. So i would encourage you this week to call up the missionaries and find out how you can help them because i know that it will be a blessing in your life and you will be happier, GOD will bless you. I know that you guys know Non members call up the missionaries and let them know because they can always use referrals! =)
Now as to my Favorite experience of the Week. We are supposed to go find for 1 hour every day and i remember that Tuesday we were in Port Coquitlam and we were knocking some doors and it was my turn to Knock. SO i reluctantly ( sadly to say) did it and i did my approach in English , because the Vast majority of the time the people are Chinese, or Canadian or Some other but hardly ever speak spanish. So i went through what we do and everything, and then Elder Rivera realized that the guy speaks Spanish! =) so elder rivera takes over in spanish and really saves me but we set a return appointment. That return appointment was for Sunday.( Yesterday) we went back yesterday and got to know him and taught the restoration lesson. After the amazing powerful Lesson we talked for a little while before we left and we found out on Monday that he had just gotten back from Guatamala from visiting his mom who i believe is not doing super well. While he was there his mom Prayed that he would find the Gospel of Jesus Christ ( She is not a MORMON) she said that he would find it soon and he believed her. He said her prayers are really powerful. He got Back Monday Night, We planned Monday Night to go knock that Complex ( We really didn't think much of it at the time), we Knocked on his Door on Tuesday. That is absolutely amazing to see how the Lord Works. 1 day and we were at his door. I know that we were directed by the Spirit to go there. I know that we did not recognize it at that time but i know that we were supposed to be there at that time and that he really wanted us to find him because he is ready. He invited us back to come back and have dinner with him and his family and i am so greatful for the Lord allowing us to have that Experience.
I know that God Lives and directs the Children of God, I Know that Christ Died for us because he loves us, But he lives and devotes his live to helping us to be better and helping us return to him! I know that we are blessed by his hand each and every day! I know that this two years away from my Family will be a blessing to others because their family can be together for Eternity. its a simply thing when you think of it like that.
Thank you for your prayers and for everything that you do! I know that your prayers help because i can feel them every day!
Thank you !!
I love you each and every one and i wish i could be there to help you, but i am so glad to be here! I know that you are being watched over by heavenly Father!
Please keep Smiling and doing what you are doing!
